It is a laudable effort by the Editor in launching this new site, offering opportunity to the veterinarians to air their view on contemporary issues. I wish and pray that more of the fraternity will sign in and make it a successful venture.

Bio-diversity year: Appreciate the efforts behind launching this website. It has the potential to grow and be a strong medium of communication and good interaction. This year 2010 is the Biodiversity year. The Veterinarians have an important role in conservation .Many of us are doing, many are supporting. The Vechur Conservation Trust conducted a Seminar on Feb 15 at CMS College .Dr.V.S.Vijayan, the Chairman State Biodiversity Board made the keynote address on Biodiversity conservation. Drs.K.C.Raghavan, K.C.Jayan and Sosamma Iype talked on different topics of diversity and conservation.
